Physical Activity

 Hello,

This is my post and reflections questions on Physical Activity.

DANCE

1) What did you participate in?

I participated in dancing. Hip Hop and Lyrical.

2) On a scale of 1-5 how hard did you push yourself - How did you know this?

I definitely pushed myself a 5. I only get to got to the dance studio for three hours a week and I need to make the most of those three hours. Dancing if my favourite sport, and I always try my best. I try hard to have lots of energy while still fitting the vibe of the dance. I went into that studio with my skin dry as well as my baby hairs. I tried really hard and my dance teacher noticed me. She asked me to do that dance by myself in front of 33 other people. I got really nervous and I got put on the spot and I said no to that offer but now I regret that decision with my whole heart. But the fact that I was trying so hard and had facials, big moves and swag in my dancing and she asked my to do it on my own is a really cool thing to happen for me. But I was very tired, hot and sweaty.

3) What other sports did you participate in?

This week I also did Swimming and a Work Out and the Ngatapa hall.

Bye Bye

Week ? Reflection

 Hey,

Today was great! We have 13 full complete bags ready to sell. We have a few things to get ready along the lines of the presentation of the stall. Emily is going to go over this block to make some more and hopefully tie dye them this weekend. Also a side note is all of the 13 bags didn't get made at school. We did it in our own time because we were very behind.

What went well today for you and your team?  Think about your teamwork, and your group’s product idea.

We had a very successful day as we have pretty much every ready for market day. We worked very well together as we all had our own set jobs and we just got on with it.

What was difficult?  Why do you think that was?

Nothing was really difficult today. We just had a little bit of trouble with trying to get the right size of poster haha.

What is your predicted sales revenue if you sell all of your products (number of products x price)?

So far we are averaging 77 dollars. We still have more bags to make but I think this is a good price.

What do you need to work on in preparation for the PREP lessons next week?

Well next week is Market Day so we are pretty much ready.

That's all for today

Bye Bye!

Week 8 Reflection

Kia Ora,

This Friday I was a bit sad because my work mates weren't letting me do very much sewing. I tried to but according to them I good at ironing the straps so I'm not really wanted going on the sewing machines.

That was my only downside about today but there are enough good things to cancel that out. We got three complete bags done. We will do a little bit of work at our own houses and Wednesday is a teacher only day and Friday will be tie dying day! We will just have to iron the complete bag and they will be ready to sell them on the 4th of December. Be sure to come along because we aren't the only stall there are lots of other cool things.
How do you think you have used your time today?
I think we used our time alright today, we have lots of almost done bags and even some fully done bags.
Some bags will also get complete this weekend which will be good as we dont have much time left.

- What has been your biggest achievement today?
Today's biggest achievement was getting two more bags made.

- Name someone in your class (from another group) who you think is making a cool product. What is their product and why do you think it will sell.
Sophia and Charlee are doing some really cool scrunchies. The designs are pretty cool.

- What do you need to do to make sure you will be on task for next week?
I think the others just need to put their phones away because they are letting us down. I feel like sometimes i'm the only one on task but it takes the teacher to get them on task. We will get there in the end.

Thats all for this week
Bye Bye Now

Week 7 Reflection!!

  Hello,

This is my reflection for week 7 prep progress.

How do you think you have used your time today?

I don't think we used out time awfully well today. We had Holly away which was a let down on the team but it's not her fault. We got the templates all ready. Some of them need to get their edges straight and others just need to get put together. We have plenty of straps and a sufficient amount of bags worth.

- What has been your biggest achievement today?

Today's biggest achievement was completing one bag. We need to get a lot of bags made in just 3 weeks but that isn't even counting the tie dying. We are a little bit behind but I'm sure we will get there in the end.

- Name someone in your class (from another group) who you think is making a cool product. What is their product and why do you think it will sell.

Venetia and Phoenix are making headbands/bandanas. I think they look really cool and a very unique idea.

- What do you need to do to make sure you will be on task for next week?

Just smashing it all out getting as many bags done ready for tie dying. We just all need to be aware of the time limit so we know how important it is to be on task and getting lots of bags made.

Hope you had a great week!

- Rebecca

Week 6 Reflection

 Hey,

How do you think you have used your time today?

First block we had assembly so that took a long time and it took the whole block. Second block we got to spend time in the textiles room. We got a lot of straps made and a few perfect cut outs for the bags. We are running a little but behind as we still need to tie dye the bags. Last block we are just spending time doing some book work and working in our blogs. Also what I am doing right now.

What has been your biggest achievement today?

Today we have gotten a lot of straps done. And that's it.

Name someone in your class (from another group) who you think is making a cool product. What is their product and why do you think it will sell.

In our class, Jack, Aiden and Jordans group are doing masks to protect you from recent virus. They are cheap, good quality and very stylish.

What do you need to do to make sure you will be on task for next week?

We just need to get a good chain of different jobs so we could smash out as many bags as we can so we can start tie dying them.

Bye Bye Now!

We will tie dye them when we have all the bags we are going to make then we will tie dye and iron and they will be ready to sell at the Campion College market day on the 4th of December. Inserted below is a photo of the bag Mrs Francis made today. Today was very successful!!!!
